Tot-School Sneak Peak "Learning Board"

This is my first post showing our beginning attempts at "Tot-Schooling"  My little darling isn't three until April but she loves to sit down and make things, color, sticker, draw, etc. She's also full of questions, like "Is dance class today?" Or "Can we go back to church tomorrow?" "When can I give kids my valentine cards?" I decided a schedule and calendar of her very own would help answer these constant questions and also sneak some learning in there, so I made her this "Learning board".  Many of her questions can be answered on this board and maybe I can encourage some new questions too.

On her board we have a calendar, list of the months, seasons wheel, weather wheel, a weekly schedule, Right hand left hand poem, and number list (these are both from Abeka) Days of creation, Alphabet chart(I made this so it would have words I memorized as a child but there are plenty online) and a shape Chart.

I made the weekly schedule myself from foam poster board (its what I had on hand) and then drew some pictures for each activity on card stock, laminated them and used Velcro dots to attach them.
Whenever she asks when were going to do something, I answer the question using our schedule and then burst into song, (sung to the tune of the Addams Family) Ooh there's Sunday and there's Monday, there's Tuesday and there's Wednesday, there's Thursday and there's Friday and then comes Saturday. Days of the week (clap clap) days of the week (clap clap) days of the week, days of the week, days of the week (clap clap)
Have Fun!
